- I am currently a Solutions Architect at Microsoft in the US Federal Specialist Technical Unit. I support our Federal Government customers around the Data Platform, including Big Data, Hadoop, Machine Learning and Open Source development. Prior to Microsoft, I worked in the CTO office at EMC Corporation, and prior to that, I was a consultant and trainer and worked with many Fortune 1000 clients to deliver dynamic, data-driven solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft suite of development products. I have worked with SQL Server since version 1.0 (Yes, there really was a 1.0 version) on OS/2. I have been involved with the Visual Studio Team System suite of products since the beginning, and have focused heavily on Agile Database development methods using MSF and "Data Dude" (Team System for Database Professionals).
